Madam Devina Says… is a digital tarot card reader that questions divination and digital authority. The reader is connected to a web server which uses a Twitter API to access tweets from our twitter handle to predict the user’s fortune. Using ultrasonic sensors, the reader will sense when cards have been placed in the appropriate spaces and activates the API via node.js, serial.js, socket.io, and express. Once the Twitter API has been activated, the fortune appears on screen.
